Train Simulator puts you in the cab and in control of six different railway routes, covering more than 600 miles of track. Each cab view features animated controls and readouts that you’d find on the real-life counterparts. For the hard-core train enthusiast, you’ll be able to operate the dynamic brakes, locomotive brakes, and train brakes separately. You can sound the horns, whistles, and bells at crossings, turn windshield wipers and headlights on and off, and operate sanders to increase the wheel grip on slippery rails. داستان بازی درگیر دو شخصیت کاملا متفاوت به نامهای : kane و lynch می باشد که در زیر به بررسی و بیوگرافی این دو شخصیت می پردازیم: Adam Kane: Traitorخیانتکارکه بخاطر جدایی از همسر و فرزندانش به شدت ناراحت بوده و برای رسیدن به اهدافش حد و مرزی نمی شناسد. فردی که سپس به عضویت گروه های باند و قاچاق از جمله گروه seven در می آید وبخاطر مسائل امنیتی ، قتل ، قاچاق و گروگان گیری توسط پلیس فدرال آمریکا تحت تعقیب می باشد. آدام پس از جدایی از همسر و فرزندانش توسط دوستش ساموئل گفته می شود پسر عموش هست و رابط گروه 7 بود وارد این گروه میشود ولی بعدها به علت خیانت علاوه بر پلیس تحت تعقیب این گروه تبهکار نیز قرار میگیرد. بعد ها پلیس در یک کلوپ این فرد را دستگیر و به زندان فدرالیEndless منتقل میکند. مبنای داستانی و روند مراحل بازی نیز حول و حوش این مسائل میچرخد که بعدا بیشتر توضیح داده خواهد شد. یک فرد دیوانه و عصبانی و خائن ملقب به : Lynch یک مرد 40 و چند ساله که مدت 3 سال در بیمارستان روانی تحت بستری بوده و بعد از یک سال زندگی با همسرش ، وقتی که از خواب بلند میشود جنازه زنش را می بیند که به طرز فجیعی کشته شده است بعد از تماس با پلیس ، معلوم میشود که خود لینچ قاتل همسرش هست و علتش بیماری اکس کیزوفرنی بوده همانطوری که شخصیت اول بازی فارنهایت با سایر افراد میکرد.شرکت Io نیز لقب Murderer ( جانی)را به این فرد داده است. پلیس این فرد را نیز به زندان Endless که kane نیز آنجاست، می فرستد. یک فرد مریض ؛ آدم کش و روانی که از بیماری اکس کیزوفرنی رنج می برد.
